Moment two masked burglars ransack a bedroom with one pint-sized raider jumping while on the bed to see on top of the wardrobe

  • Burglars spent two minutes in the victim’s bedroom in Bury, Greater Manchester

This is the chilling moment two masked burglars ransack a bedroom, rifling through the owner’s wardrobes and standing on their bed in a brazen show of contempt.

The duo were filmed spending over two minutes in the victim’s bedroom in Bury, Greater Manchester, on Thursday.

The two men, clad in black, do not appear to realise they are being filmed on a covert video camera at the end of the bed.

The taller man wearing a balaclava is spotted peering out of the window as he appears to keep watch.

The shorter man, with his face only partially covered with a hat and scarf, then starts to rummage through belongings.

He begins methodically opening the wardrobe doors at first, as the other raider looks down the side of the double bed.

The shorter man’s phone goes off in his pocket and he hands it over to his fellow criminal who talks for a while before walking out.

He starts to peer towards the top of the cupboards and has to go on tip-toe to reach for something on the top shelf.

The burglar then even stands on the bed in a marked show of disrespect as he analyses the contents of the wardrobe.

He stands on the bed two more times and eventually does two little jumps in a failed attempt to get a better view.

The man then peers out the window before fleeing the house, all captured in a two-minute and 21-second clip.

After the footage was shared online, Mark Anthony fumed: ‘Vermin.’

Lee Walshaw said: ‘Scruffy b*stards.’

One local said: ‘This doesn’t look random, looks like they were looking for something very specific in my opinion.

Another quipped: ‘Real question is why have you got a camera right in front of the bed?’
