Two people shot, a 20-year-old man and a juvenile, on East Colfax Avenue near Denver East High School remain hospitalized, and an investigation is ongoing.
The shooting, part of an “altercation,” happened at about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Colfax, near the Carla Madison Recreation Center.
A juvenile who was shot is described by police as an “uninvolved bystander.”
Both the man and the juvenile remain in the hospital on Thursday.
A witness told Denver7 on Wednesday that a large group of teens was involved in a fight before shots were fired. No arrests in the case have been made.
