Police are hunting for four people who drove a car stolen from Queensland on a rampage through Sydney’s inner suburbs, damaging about 30 vehicles, before they fled on foot.
About 11pm on Thursday, police responded to reports of a Toyota LandCruiser driving dangerously along Oxford Street in Surry Hills.

Officers began a pursuit along South Dowling Street after failing to intercept the car at the Cleveland Street intersection. The driver crashed into the other vehicles before coming to a halt.
The LandCruiser had been reported stolen from an address in Queensland.
All roads remain open.
Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage or further information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
