Ukraine allegedly tried to attack the residence of Vladimir Putin in Moscow, the Kremlin has claimed.
The Russian government has alleged that drones were used to attack the fortress-like compound in the centre of the city on Wednesday (May 3).
A report from the Russian Presidential Administration said: "Two unmanned aerial vehicles were aimed at the Kremlin. As a result of timely actions taken by the military and special services using radar warfare systems, the devices were disabled”.
Local reports claim that Vladimir Putin was uninjured in the attack and added his work schedule remained unchanged.
The attacks came just days before the planned Victory Day Parade on May 9, RIA Novosti reports.
