A witness has contacted the 24-year-old’s family to claim they saw him on Monday in a square near the city’s Arc de Triomf monument.
The same witness is said to have placed him a week earlier in another square near Barcelona’s famous La Boqueria Market just a six-minute walk from the Old Irish Pub Levi was picked up on CCTV leaving around 10pm on October 29.

The 24-year-old has been missing since October 29 and has not used his phone or bank cards since then
Monday’s sighting occurred in Placa Sant Agusti Vell – Old Saint Agustin Square in English – according to local press.
The other square has been identified as Placa del Canonge Colom, behind La Boqueria and near to the La Rambla boulevard.
A spokesman for Levi’s family, quoted by news website Cronica Global, said: ‘A person claims to have seen Levi in Barcelona.
‘It has not been possible to confirm the information yet, and the search is continuing.’
A spokesman for the regional Mossos d’Esquadra police force in Barcelona confirmed it was aware of the information but said yesterday morning there was no update.
She added: ‘Our investigation is ongoing.’
Levi’s mum Julie travelled to Barcelona earlier this month to search for her son, who vanished after taking a boat from Ibiza to Barcelona.
His distraught mother, Julie Davis, landed in Barcelona earlier this month to retrace her son’s footsteps and help with the search
She confirmed during her short stay in the Catalan capital he left Ibiza with just 40 euros on him.
The former Bath winger and X-Factor star had been suffering depression and travelled to Europe to take time out in the wake of a knee injury which had sidelined him from rugby.
Speaking a fortnight after he went missing, Julie revealed police had told her Levi had not used either of his two bank cards or his phone for two weeks.
She also said his phone signal was last picked up around Barcelona’s main train station Sants late at night on October 29.
Levi’s sister Candeece Balfour, 23, has admitted she is scared about his wellbeing and said: ‘I just want to tell him that I love him.’
His Ibiza-based close friend Richard Squire, who formally reported him missing to Catalan police and has organised a GoFundMe appeal to help finance the search for him, has been contacted for comment about the reported Barcelona sightings.
This comes after MailOnline obtained CCTV footage of Mr Davis leaving the Old Irish Pub on the bustling La Rambla street on the evening of October 29.
MailOnline has obtained fresh CCTV showing rugby star Levi Davis leaving the Old Irish Pub on the bustling La Rambla street at 10.05pm
Mr Davis visited the pub at about 9.30pm and stayed for just 35 minutes.
He left the venue carrying a small black rucksack and wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, black trousers and black and white trainers.
The barmaid who served him said he ordered a pint of Heineken and watched the Liverpool versus Leeds game on television.
He had only been in Barcelona for three-hours before he disappeared.
The 24-year-old disembarked at the city’s ferry port at 7pm following an eight-hour crossing from Ibiza where he had been staying with friends.
Levi Davis had also sent a video message to his mother on the same evening of a singer performing at the same pub. He wrote ‘Arrived Mom’ followed by a prayer emoji.
Julie Davis, who visited the bar as she retraced the steps of her son, said: ‘Every day that Levi is missing makes the pain and heartache worse, we just want to know he is safe.
‘It’s every mum’s worst nightmare. People tell you to always value a hug or a kiss as you don’t if it’ll be the last, I never used to understand that but I get it now.
Julie Davis told how her son sent a video message of a singer performing in the Old Irish Pub just before he disappeared and wrote ‘Arrived Mom’ adding a prayer emoji
‘There’s been no trace of him since then [October 29] and we are getting more and more worried. But we are still keeping positive and the police are doing all they can.
‘We’ve been told that he may have been sleeping rough in Barcelona over the last couple of days but we aren’t 100 per cent sure it was him.
‘I spoke to Levi last just after he had got to Barcelona and he sent me a video message from the Irish bar of a singer performing live. He wrote ‘Arrived Mom’.
‘He told me that he was hoping to travel around Europe and after Spain he was looking to go to France and see friends of his.
Levi’s brother Nathan, who travelled to Barcelona with his mother, added: ‘Someone, somewhere has to know something’
Police in the Catalan city say his mobile phone signal was last picked up near to Barcelona’s Sants mainline train station overnight on October 29
Mr Davis starred on Celebrity X Factor in 2019 alongside fellow rugby stars Ben Foden and Thom Evans in a singing group known as Try Star. He was also on E4’s Celebs Go Dating in 2020
‘I’m exhausted, I’ve had long meetings with police and consulate officials and we’ve spoke to a local missing persons charity.
‘But I’m not giving up, we just want him to reach out to us and let us know he’s ok.’
Levi’s brother Nathan, who also travelled to Barcelona with his mother, added: ‘Someone, somewhere has to know something.
‘It’s a slow process but we are trying to piece together his last movements. I would ask anyone who may have seen Levi to please get in touch with the police.’

In 2020 he became the first professional rugby player to come out as bisexual in an interview with the Mail on Sunday.
He said he told his teammates about his sexuality via a group message on WhatsApp, writing: ‘Hi guys. I just want to tell you something that’s been eating away at me for four years now.
‘I want to be open and honest with you boys, as friends and team-mates. I’m bisexual. It’s something I have known since I was 18.’
Ending the message in playful fashion, he assured them that, owing to their appearance, ‘none of you lot are on my radar… so it’s OK’.
Mr Davis said his teammates were all supportive and understanding. He recalled: ‘Then they began taking the p*** in a good-natured way, which I was relieved about. If they had been too tender-hearted, I would have been worried. I’m still a rugby player, after all!’
