It has been slammed by The Tenants’ Union of Australia for “gross exploitation of vulnerable women”, as reported by 7News.
It's understood that the listing was posted online on Tuesday, according to an image of the listing shared by the union.
The Gumtree listing goes on to claim that they only want “serious enquiries only” and “no time wasters”.
It also claims applicants “must be clean and disease free” and would “suit escort” or “single parent with child”.
Renters would also see benefits including “a locked door”
The publication explained the listing has been posted while the region is experiencing a severe housing crisis, in a bid to take advantage of vulnerable women.

The Tenants’ Union of Australia said: “This is a gross exploitation of vulnerable women, who are affected by the housing crisis.
“No woman having sex in exchange for a roof over her head is freely and happily consenting to it.
“Governments at all levels need to pull every lever to end this crisis.
“This includes building more homes faster, introducing an empty homes levy, regulating short stay accommodation and more.”
