Monstrous ‘Stranger Things’ spiral turns out to be slugs having an orgy

A horrified Reddit user has made a nightmarish “Stranger Things” discovery on their front door that turned out to be a slimy slug orgy.

Posting on r/CasualUK, user u/Appropriate-Secret80 said: “Someone tell me wtf is on my… front door right now”.

The horror was justified, however, because what was before them was a terrifying slime swirl hanging from a mucous-like drip.

Like a dreamcatcher that has only ever managed to catch a nightmare, the hellish slime spiral had the internet recoiling as one.

Sharing their shock users piled into the comments to express their feelings.

One said: “That my friend is the plot to the next season of stranger things.” Carrying on the theme, a second added: “Do you live in Hawkins by any chance?”

A third exclaimed: “What a terrible day to have eyes”, while a fourth added: “Armageddon. That is what is on your door”.

But despite the general breakout terror and fears of an imminent supernatural sci-fi outbreak, cooler heads pointed out that this was actually just slugs having a bonk.

User LazarusOwenhart said: “Hot, dirty, slimy slug sex. Those slugs are turning your front door into an alleyway behind a Wetherspoons.”

“SLORGY!” another helpfully added.

Leopard slugs mate by circling around one another intertwining their bodies until they extend body-length penises from openings on the side of their heads.

Slugs carry both male and female organs and so the sperm from the penis fertilises the other’s eggs, although sometimes it gets eaten, the Conversation reports.

Still, despite the science, peoples’ horror was not subdued.

One user said: “If pornhub had a page for slugs, this would be on it", while a second quipped: “Carbon neutral, 100% organic, lube dispenser”

In the words of the user RighteousTablespoon, who posted in the comments: “Aaaand that’s enough internet for today. Goodnight, everyone!”
