Mark Zuckerberg earns blue belt in Jiu Jitsu after accepting Musk’s cage fight

Facebook CEO and Meta man Mark Zuckerberg has earned a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after accepting Elon Musk's cage fight challenge.

The brutal billionaire bout may yet be hosted in Rome's Colosseum, and it would appear the Meta CEO is taking no chances in the build-up.

While Twitter head Musk may be changing the app's name and logo, Zuckerberg has allegedly been training away for the fight of a lifetime and recently became a blue belt in the bloodthirsty sport.

Taking to Instagram to announce his progress in the terrifying martial art, Zuckerberg showcased his promotion to blue belt ahead of a potential tech giant face-off.

He captioned his Instagram post: "Honoured to be promoted to compete at blue belt for Guerrilla San Jose team.

"You’re a great coach and I’ve learned so much about fighting and life from training with you"

His coach, Dave Camarillo, was also present at the event where Zuckerberg received his blue belt, with his coach receiving a "5th degree black belt", LADBible reported.

Mr Camarillo thanked Zuckerberg and said he was "absolutely honoured" to have been supported by the tech expert, with the black belt adding: "Thank you for your support and your amazing display of discipline!"

Zuckerberg's intense training comes as he gears up for Musk's cage fight challenge, an offer issued by the Tesla and SpaceX CEO earlier this year.

The Daily Star previously reported the potential bout, with the pair's fight a "dead serious" event, UFC chief Dana White alleged.

Experts are already tipping the Facebook mastermind to pull ahead in the fight, with space-mad Musk tipped to "lose the cage fight" as the more rounds there are, the less stamina Musk will have.

A spokesperson for Total Shape told the Star: "Zuckerberg is more about hiking and high endurance activities that naturally build a leaner body."
