Firefighters used ladders to rescue two children from a two-story residential fire on Saturday morning and one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The fire in a home in the Cole neighborhood, near East 37th Avenue and Humboldt Street, is out, according to the Denver Fire Department.
Firefighters responding encountered flames on the first floor, according to a 7:41 a.m. Saturday DFD tweet. Two children who were evacuated by ladder from a second-story residence were treated by emergency responders at the scene. One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
