This is the shocking moment a man is tricked by a team of three crooks and has his bag stolen whilst sat in his car.
The video shows security footage from a shop, in a side street of Southall, west London, of a man walking to the car with a bag wrapped around his shoulder at some time in November.
As he goes to open his car, one of the thieves, wearing a black hoodie to cover his face, throws an object under the vehicle on the passenger side, without the victim noticing.
Whilst this taking place, the other two wrongdoers wait round the corner on the other side of the road and can just about be seen in the footage.
After the man has got in the car, he drops his bag into the front passenger seat and is about to drive away, before the second offender quickly walks up to his car and taps on his window.

The culprit, wearing a navy blue flat cap and bomber jacket, points out the object thrown on the floor by his accomplice, before walking off out of shot, while his mate walks across the road, behind the car.
As the driver gets out to check, the third crook sneakily opens the passenger side door and takes the bag.
He quickly, but smoothly, closes the door and darts away, leaving the driver angry and confused as to where his stuff has gone.
The victim can then be seen angrily looking in all directions for the thieves, before running back towards the main road to search for them.
The video was posted on X, formally known as Twitter, just before 7pm on Monday and has been viewed more than 1.3million times in less than 24 hours.
One account replied to the post and explained what viewers had just watched: ‘It’s a 3 man crew on this. As the owner of the car returns, look top left guy 1 is following him but misses the opportunity, guy 2 is stood at the corner of the shop top left, guy with baseball cap is also there. Guy 2 distracts while guy 3 opens the passenger car door.’
Some questioned whether there were more people involved: ‘He was clearly followed after parking there. As the three dudes are right on his tail. I wonder if the other dude was in on it that part crossed the road then went back and was on pavement opposite as the guy dropped the tenner.’
Another wrote: ‘3 man job. Surprised he didn’t notice the car door closing though!’
A third shocked viewer commented: ‘He got done by so many of em… more you watch the more people you see as part of the gang’
While a fourth joked: ‘Only thing that would have made this better would have been someone stealing the car once he leaves it at the end!’
One person commented on the item stolen, saying: ‘What was in the bag they stole I wonder? Anyone stealing my bag on the average day would be severely disappointed.’
