Child of woman left ‘unrecognisable’ after brutal murder ‘heard crime on phone’

The daughter of a woman left "unrecognisable" after she was brutally murdered has said she heard the horror crimes "through the phone".

Recalling the horrific events of Rhoderie Estrada's murder back in 2018, her daughter, who at the time was told "Mommy's gone" has spoken on what she heard at the time of the killing.

Jazmine Aquintey, who at the time heard of her mother's brutal killing through a 911 phone call, has revealed the brutal details that echoed through.

Estrada, 41, was murdered by two brutal thugs who battered her to death with a crowbar and then "attempted to have sex with her body".

The sickening attack on the 41-year-old nurse was described by Aquintey years later, who says she can remember the horrifying phone call she overheard with the grisly details of her mothers death.

Of the event, she said: "All I was hearing was my dad yelling through the phone and then there was a rush of police coming up the stairs."

Beyond the rush of police and her father Gerald's yells, Aquintey also said that she heard particular, scattershot details of the gruesome death.

Gerald Aquintey had found Rhoderie on a bed and covered in blood, with her head so brutally beaten around the head that it was swollen, Daily Star reported.

Aquintey said she heard phrases through the phone call, including that her mother's "teeth are falling out" and that "there's a lot of blood" at the scene.

She also heard the horrifying end of the call, with a blunt "she's dead" lingering on in her mind some years after the death of her mother, TorontoSun reported.

Estrada had been brutally murdered by two thugs, Yostin Murillo, 22 and David Beak, 23, who both received life sentences for their sickening crimes.

Murillo has since asked for a transfer to a women's prison, a request that has been met with some controversy, although some activist groups believe the 22-year-old murderer should be granted the transfer, womenarehuman reported.
