Britain could see bitter snow chaos this weekend, with the Met Office issuing weather warnings as a result.
People in Scotland could be waking up to up to 10cm of snow later on this morning (February 18), while fierce winds could surpass 60mph.
This has caused the Met Office to issue a yellow weather warning that is in place until 9am later this morning, stating that journeys along railways and higher-level roads could be impacted by the snow and ice conditions.

While Scotland, along with northern England will bear the brunt of the cold, the Midlands and the South are forecast to see mild temperatures in the mid teens.
According to the WXChart forecast, the snow is set to continue into next week, with as much as 20cm of the white stuff covering Scotland next Friday (February 24) and Saturday (February 25).
Northeast England is also expected to see some snow, with a light flurry expected to hit on Wednesday (February 22).
Temperatures are also expected to remain below freezing north of the border, dropping to as low as -5C.
This comes as Storm Otto caused widespread travel chaos and power cuts when it hit the UK yesterday (February 17).
