As a snowstorm continues to drop moderate to heavy amounts of snow across Colorado, nearly 50% of Southwest Airlines’ flights through Denver International Airport have been either delayed or canceled.
The delays, 193 arriving or departing flights, account for 39% of Southwest’s traffic through Denver. Another 53 Southwest flights, or 10% of their Denver traffic, were canceled as of 7:35 a.m., according to the flight tracking website FlightAware.
In total, 279 flights through Denver have been delayed so far Wednesday, and 75 flights have been canceled.
Frontier has 14 flights, 13% of their Denver traffic, canceled, SkyWest has seven canceled flights and United canceled one flight so far.
United and SkyWest have the most delays outside of Southwest, with 31 and 28 delays, respectively.
