Martin Lewis’ shopping loophole that gets you 80% off at Office and Schuh

Forget voucher codes, bargain hunter Martin Lewis has uncovered a way to get you 80% off designer items online – by shopping on two very specific websites.

The consumer champion revealed a little known hack on This Morning – and the savings can be huge if you're quick enough.

When shopping for footwear, Lewis says there are two outlet stores online that could get you the exact pair you're after for less.

Speaking on the ITV show, he said anyone on the hunt for a pair of branded shoes or trainers should visit the Schuh imerfects website online – where you can pick up some big savings.

And if you have no luck there, try the Office outlet – known as Offcuts – where you may be able to get your item for up to 80% less.

But what's the catch?

While these items are new, they're all classed as 'imperfect'. They may be ex-display, have a small scuff on them or it may be as simple as the sticker on the insole has come off.

Don't panic though as each item does come with an explanation of the defect – so you know how minor or serious it is.

Speaking on the hack on This Morning, Martin Lewis said: "Shh! Secret shoe sales.

"The high street chains Office and Schuh have separate websites with mega reductions on it.

"This is ex-display stock so there might be very minor wear and tear – it’s a bit of an online jumble sale.

"So you get a pair of Puma trainers normally £62.00 for £21.00."

However, with the secret now out, Martin says you might have to be quick if you want a pair.

"Though, as I’m telling you, as lots of people flood in the stock will drop and there won’t be much, so see this a more of a note to check it in a couple of weeks when stock levels will probably be up and you might just be able to bag a bargain."

Mirror Money went on a hunt to find out what deals we could find on the Schuh Imperfects website – and we found some pretty impressive savings.

These Puma Classics are on offer for £65, instead of the £24 RRP, but it does come with a warning that one is slightly discoloured – presumably because it's been on display.

These Vans are also almost half price – but there's only one in stock – which is often the case.

On the Offcuts website, we found Ugg slippers for £33 cheaper, but only in selected sizes . Both have been described as in 'near perfect' or 'great condition'.

And, don't worry, if you change your mind, you can return them for a full refund – though bear in mind if you opt for an exchange, the replacement may also arrive with a defect.
