A Russian mercenary has laid bare Vladimir Putin’s end goals in the war against Ukraine. In a video posted on social media, Russian war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky explained Russian troops are destroying any buildings on their trails to cause as many deaths as possible. He mentions the hospitals Russian soldiers have been targeting to make them inadequate to cure patients and wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
Mr Tatarsky explained Putin’s spine-chilling real goals, saying: “Many people have a strange love for Ukrainians.
“They don’t understand why we’re destroying their infrastructure.
“Why do we make them angry? Look, those pigs were already angry.
“Even when defending, we must destroy the infrastructure.
“Hospitals will not work and more Ukrainians will die.”
Ukrainian troops have recaptured around 2,300 square miles since the beginning of their counteroffensive in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions, the country’s President Volodymyr said.
The totality of the land regained amounts to almost 10 percent of the territory lost to the Russian offensive since February.
Despite its major setback in Kharkiv, the Kremlin insisted it would achieve all the “goals” of the “special military operation” in Ukraine.
“The special military operation continues and will continue until the initial goals are achieved,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a conference call with journalists.
After the Ukrainian troops’ successful counteroffensive in Kharkiv, Russian troops were forced to retreat in what the Russian Defence Ministry has sought to present as a strategic regrouping.
“The decision was made to regroup Russian troops in the areas of Balakleya and Izium and redirect their efforts in the Donetsk direction,” it said.
Mr Peskov said Putin knows about the said “regrouping” of Russian soldiers.
“Of course, all the actions of the army during the special military operation are reported to the supreme commander-in-chief [President Vladimir Putin],” Mr Peskov told journalists.

“The President is in constant round-the-clock communication with the minister of defense and with all military leaders,” Mr Peskov said.
According to the Institute for the Study of War, “Russian troops likely withdrew from the area in great haste, and social media posts show abandoned tanks and other heavy military equipment near Izium, which indicates that Russian troops failed to organize a coherent retreat.”
The Russian death toll is hard to determine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine claim Ukraine has eliminated 52,950 Russian soldiers from February 24 to September 10.
