One of two pedestrians struck in downtown in a hit-and-run crash has died and police are looking for the driver who fled the scene.
The incident happened at about 4:26 a.m. Saturday as two pedestrians were crossing 15th Street at Stout Street, police said. The driver fled the scene without stopping and the vehicle, a blue, full-sized Ford SUV, hit property at Arapahoe and 15th streets. Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital and on Saturday afternoon police announced the death of one victim.
