The hunt has begun for a “crashed alien spaceship” off the coast of Australia.
Astrophysicist Avi Loeb is convinced a meteor from outside of our solar system that splashed down in 2014 is actually ET technology.
And he’s now fully funded for a £1.9MILLION mission to retrieve the "UFO" lying at the bottom of the Pacific.

The meteor soared through skies near Papua New Guinea at more than 100,000 miles per hour before hitting Earth near Manus Island, according to Nasa.
US Space Command officials have said that the meteor, measuring just 1.5 feet across, “was indeed an interstellar object”.
Loeb said: “Our discovery of an interstellar meteor heralds a new research frontier.
“The fundamental question is whether any interstellar meteor might indicate a composition that is unambiguously artificial in origin.
“Better still, perhaps some technological components would survive the impact.”
Loeb wants to scoop up the “artificial” object from the bottom of the Pacific with a magnet to examine it.

He believes that retrieving it could fulfil a lifelong dream of getting his hands on alien technology.
“The material of it is tougher than iron… so the question is whether it’s just an unusual rock or perhaps a spacecraft from another civilisation,” he said.
“I was able to receive full funding for this expedition… and we will scoop the ocean floor and figure out the composition of the object.
“My dream is to press some buttons on a functional piece of equipment that was manufactured outside of Earth.”
