Dog decapitating sicko faces life for trying to rid entire town of LGBTQ+ people

A disgusting bloke who decapitated a dog is facing life in prison after attempting to rid an entire town of LGBTQ+ people.

Sicko John Russell Howald, 46, had already served time for the beheading of a pooch and may find himself behind bars for the rest of his days after a hate crime conviction.

He was convicted over firing an assault rifle into the home of a lesbian living in the Montana, United States area, with a grim intention behind the attack.

Howald had wanted to "rid the town" of gays and lesbians, with a court hearing he had tried to "violently eliminate" members of the LBGTQ+ community in Basin.

The 46-year-old was found guilty by a jury after a four-day trial into hate crimes and discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence, the U.S. Department of Justice revealed.

Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division said: "This defendant is being held accountable for attempting to violently eliminate the entire LGBTQ community in a small Montana town."

Court documents show Howald had armed himself with three rifles and two handguns and stormed through the town of Basin on a self-described mission.

The dog executioner's sick goal was to eliminate the lesbian and gay community, the Department of Justice confirmed, with Howald approaching the house of one victim and firing several shots into the home with an AK-style assault rifle.

The victim was not hurt in the attack, which was followed up by the 46-year-old heading to a separate home, where on his way he bumped into members of a church who confirmed Howald was armed.

The release read: "One of those people, a pastor, unknowingly had left on a recording device that he used for his sermons. The device recorded about 10 minutes of his interaction with Howald until Howald demanded that the pastor walk away.

"The recording captured Howald making statements that he might have killed a lesbian and that he hoped he had, and that he was going to get rid of lesbians and queers in Basin.

"The recording also captured Howald firing off several more rounds during his interaction with these individuals."

The 46-year-old had previously served 24 months behind bars for animal cruelty and may be set for life in prison after his disgraceful mission.
