A couple who scooped a staggering £1million lotto jackpot after almost leaving the ticket behind in the shop have splashed the cash to travel the world and renovate their dream home since the win.
Former Sheffield United defender Terry Kennedy, 29, had played alongside England star Harry Maguire before he injured his knee and was forced to become a builder.
A video of him realising he had won the eye-watering amount of cash went viral after he matched five numbers plus the bonus ball on the Lotto Lucy Dip ticket last year.

Now, the lucky bloke has revealed that he has since been enjoying the win with partner Kay Yoxall, 26.
The pair have visited everywhere from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and Las Vegas since scooping the seven-figure sum.
They’ve been skydiving, snorkelled with turtles and even taken a ride in a helicopter.
Terry admitted he still has to “pinch himself” to remind himself it’s really happening and added: “This win is something which has absolutely changed our lives forever, including the ability it’s given us to travel the world.
“It is always something you hope will happen to you but it is just a dream – you think it’s something that only happens to other people – not ordinary people like us.”

The loved-up pair sat down to make a list of all the activities they wanted to do with their winnings, and are now building their perfect home in Rotherham after jetting off around the world.
Kay explained: “We are loving just having the time ourselves to build a dream home – just as we want it to be…
“The winning isn’t just about the money – it is about buying you that all important time which when you are working you just do not have."
