Cops finally arrest Idaho ‘Scream’ killing suspect months after rampage

Police have finally arrested a suspect in the horrific Idaho quadruple "Scream" killings months after the initial rampage that left four students dead.

Arrest records confirmed that a SWAT team have made an arrest of a 28-year-old in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, with the same make and model of car at the crime scene spotted at the home.

Said car has since been towed from the home of Bryan Christopher Kohberger, who was arrested in connection with the murders of four University of Idaho students.

DNA of the criminal justice graduate was found at the scene of the murders, with officers tracing the 28-year-old's car.

Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Zana Kernodle, 20, were all stabbed to death in Idaho on November 13, and Xana's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, 20, was also killed in the brutal massacre.

Police had informed CNN of the DNA finding, with Kohberger linked to the scene of the massacre from last month.

Authorities had discovered the 28-year-old had left the area and travelled to Pennsylvania, where FBI teams had been tracking him.

He was then kept under surveillance by FBI agents as investigators from both Moscow and Idaho State Police departments worked on getting an arrest warrant.

They have since gained one, and the arrest of Kohberger marks the first major break of the case, with the 28-year-old allegedly asking if "anyone else was arrested" when taken into custody.

Reports show that Kohberger has no prior arrests, and it is currently unclear how officials managed to get a hold of his DNA, Daily Mail reported.

It was further shown that Kohberger, a PhD college student at Washington State University, was attending a course just 15-minutes away from the crime scene.

A spokesman for Pennsylvania State Police said: "Bryan C. Kohberger, 28, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant early this morning by members of Troop N and the Special Emergency Response Team at a home in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County."
