On Tuesday (13 December 2022), David Schwartz, who is Ripple’s Chief Cryptographer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), announced that he had released his new Ethereum-powered NFT collection on NFT marketplace OpenSea.
There are 28 NFTs in the “Ugly on the Outside” collection. Here is the description of the collection:
“Feel free to name yours after anyone you know who is as ugly on the inside as these folks are on the outside. Images are generated with Stable Diffusion. Creator promises not to sue the holder of any NFT in this collection for infringement of any copyright they may have on the image.“
Stable Diffusion is “a latent text-to-image diffusion model capable of generating photo-realistic images given any text input, cultivates autonomous freedom to produce incredible imagery, empowers billions of people to create stunning art within seconds.”
The floor price is currently 0.25 ETH.
It is worth pointing out that the Ripple CTO’s main NFT collection is on Sologenic and he is talking to http://XRP.Cafe.
Schwartz has also experimented with creating NFTs using XRPL-powered Xungible:
