Weather forecasters say heatwaves are coming thanks to "African plumes" on their way to blast the UK.
This week saw the hottest temperature recorded in the UK so far this year as the mercury hit 21.6C in Helen's Bay, Northern Ireland.
Exacta Weather forecaster James Madden expects that record to be broken towards the end of next week with "high pressure" set to influence our weather for around four to six days.

He said: "We could still see maximum temperatures reaching in the mid to high 20s quite widely at the peak of this."
However, he noted that this hot spell will only be "temporary" with "cooler and more unsettled weather" likely to follow for the rest of May.
July, August and September look to be a different story, with Madden saying "confidence has only increased" with regards to a series of predicted scorching heatwaves.
He said: "A number of African plumes are also likely from later in August and into September, and very early indications and some strong indicators are for a warm to hot September this year."
In an earlier forecast Madden said "we are not expecting anything of a similar nature" to the record-breaking 40C summer that came last year.
"However, the peak of these heat surges in June and July could see maximum temperatures ranging in the low to mid 30s, and the late summer/August heatwave could sign off summer 2023 with temperatures ranging a notch or two higher than this," he said.
The Met Office expects "sunny spells" next week following cooler conditions on Monday (May 15).
For the rest of May it says: "Temperatures generally unremarkable for many areas and whilst it feels warm enough in sunnier periods, some eastern coastal areas could be rather cool at times, especially with an onshore breeze."
The Met Office is yet to predict what July, August or September may bring.
