Dozens of schoolgirls have been hospitalised after they "lost consciousness" while using a Ouija board at school.
The school’s directors and concerned teachers accompanied the 28 students to the hospital after the girls showed signs of "fainting, anxiety and other symptoms".
Hugo Torres, the head of the Galeras Educational Institution in Galeras, Colombia, said in a video statement that parents and guardians were informed that the girls were taken to hospital – adding they were still waiting for an update from doctors.

Many parents believe the children were hospitalised after using Ouija boards in class.
One mother urged other parents to look into why so many children were hospitalised at once: “Our children always have a good breakfast and it cannot be said that what’s happening is due to lack of food.”
Indy100 reported Hugo Torres urged parents to stay level-headed following the release of the news, saying: “Given the reported cases, a series of comments were unleashed on the community that, rather than helping to resolve the situation, led to confusion and an adverse environment for our work.
“The educational institute also respectfully asks citizens to refrain from making early judgements and diagnoses of their own."
It’s not currently known when the school plans on releasing an update on the students’ medical diagnoses.

On top of this, local authorities have not yet confirmed whether a police investigation is underway.
While the schoolgirls may have had a close encounter with paranormal forces, at least they aren’t being haunted by a dark spirit likeNick Summersis.
The Daily Star reported in late February that Nick Summers and his wife had to flee two homes because he was supposedly being tormented by an “aggressive spirit” who may have latched on to him after he “died three times” following a work accident.
The couple claimed to have captured CCTV footage of the cruel ghoul moving objects across their home.
