THIS is the shocking moment a child runs for their life as a gunman opens fire into a car.
Chaos erupted in Rainham, Essex, on Saturday when a man stalked another across a shopping promenade and let rip with a handgun.
In chilling footage captured on CCTV, the gunman appears to be walking in a group with two other men on Mungo Park Road.
A man – dressed in a light-coloured tracksuit – then walks past the group with his hands behind his back.
The three stop and turn around as one of them, with what looks like a white carrier bag, begins to give pursuit.
He stalks his victim – heading for a black car – across the square with his hand behind the bag.
