Terrifying moment Palestine protesters confront CNN reporter on live TV

CNN reporter Sara Sidner was confronted face-to-face by a furious Palestinian protester while reporting live from the West Bank.

Sidner was reporting live from a demonstration in Ramallah when a man walked up to her.

He began to shout in Sidner’s face and call out the channel’s perceived bias covering Palestine.

He said: “You are genocide supporters!

“You are not welcome here! Genocide supporters! F*** CNN! F*** CNN!”

He pointed his finger in Sidner’s face while a crowd of demonstrators circled around her.

The reporter was moved away from the scene by security before she said: “You see that people are very angry, they do not like the way that CNN has been reporting the story, you hear that.

“What you are seeing is the heightened fear, anger, frustration with what’s happening.”

Sidner, wearing a heavy-duty helmet and bulletproof vest, appeared to tell a producer in her earpiece “we’re fine”.

The rally was protesting Israel’s assault on the Palestinian people, ahead of an impending ground invasion into Gaza.

This comes amid growing anti-American anger across Arab and Muslim countries.

In addition to the protest in the West Bank, anti-American protests were seen in Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh on Friday.

US forces are also facing increased threats, raising concerns that the Israel-Hamas war may spill over across the region.

Earlier this week, the US military in Iraq, Syria and Yemen fended off drone strikes and missiles.

On Tuesday, troops at the al-Asad Air Base in Iraq intercepted three drones while troops at the Al-Harir Air Base intercepted another two.

On Wednesday, a drone hit US forces in Syria resulting in minor injuries, while another was brought down.

While on Thursday, drones and rockets targeted bases hosting US troops in Iraq, where multiple blasts were heard inside the base.

Iran said that the US was militarily involved in the conflict and should be held to account for its actions.
