A gang of young thugs have been captured on video brutally beating up a homeless man in the Moorfield multi-storey car park in Truro, Cornwall, which has outraged all those who viewed the footage.
The horrific attack was filmed by the passenger of a car and shows five young men and one girl repeatedly punching and kicking the man as he lay by his makeshift bed in an apparent unprovoked attack.
In one of the several assaults, one of the teenagers can be seen hitting the victim over the head with a bottle while another, shirtless, teen kicks him and a third thug lunges at him repeatedly punching him about the face, head and body.
There are now fears for the victim as he has not been seen or heard from since the incident, reports CornwallLive.
The video has been shared widely on social media. It is graphic and may be distressing to watch.
Many people who have seen the footage, which was shared on Facebook, have described the attack as sickening.
One Truro resident posted on the Truro…Our City Facebook page: "I have just received five videos of five teenagers kicking and beating a homeless man in the car park last night.
"The videos can’t be posted on here. However, the anti social behaviour officer and the police are involved. These videos make horrific viewing. One female involved. What in the world possesses these youngsters?"
Another person who saw the video added: "What is wrong with people? This is disgusting."
While a third person commented: "This is disgusting. A poor defenceless man. I hope they are punished for this."
Another poster wrote: "I hope the people that did it get in trouble with the police. Awful stuff."
Another Truro resident also saw the video as it did the rounds on Facebook. She said: "I have just seen the video and it’s the worst thing I have ever seen nearly made me sick. These people need exactly what they have."

CornwallLive was contacted by another concerned woman after she saw the sickening video. She said: "It has come to my attention that an innocent homeless man was beaten up today by a group of teens.
"While naming and shaming is very deserved I feel that as a community we should come together and do something about this to benefit this poor man! It would be great if somehow [we could] gather a group of people who would be willing to chip in so we could get this man something he needs like a new blanket and some food that will last a while.
"However I have no idea who this man is and where to find him. I feel that as a community we could all change this into a positive… but without your help I doubt we will be able to find him."
Another member of the Facebook group added: "I hope he is ok. What horrid horrid people those who did that are."
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said its officers in the city are aware of the video circulating on Facebook and Snapchat and had launched an investigation.
He added: "Truro police are aware of footage that has been circulated on social media in relation to an incident in the city centre. We would like to reassure the public that we will be investigating this promptly and robustly to ensure those responsible are brought to justice."
