A Russian model has reportedly died following a tragic boating accident while on holiday with her boyfriend.
Galina Fedorova, 35, is understood to have died after getting into trouble in choppy waters off Sardinia, Italy.
According to local reports, the model was on a boat trip with her boyfriend in a dingy near Isola Rossa in Tealada.
They were sailing on a trip to the Red Island, according to Sardegnalive.
It’s said they were sailing in a rubber dinghy before the fatal accident on Saturday, September 5.
The pair decided to jump into the water and swim before their boat was swept towards some rocks.
As they tried to retrieve the dinghy they fell into choppy water, according to local media.

The boyfriend, who has not bee named, was saved by a rescue boat.
The Port Authority continued to scour the waters for the body of his partner.
By the time she was found and taken aboard she had already died, according to Vistanet.

The local authorities sent the victim’s body to undergo an autopsy at the University Hospital of Monserrato to establish whether she drowned or sustained other injuries that caused her death.
Reports from Italy claim that the model drowned.
Her mother reportedly took to Instagram to ask for “financial help” to travel to Sardinia and “say goodbye” to her daughter.
She said her daughter had studied journalism and worked as a model.
