Prince William shouted ‘The King is in the house’ in DJ set, Kate’s uncle claims

Prince William shouted: "The King is in the house" to a crowd of revellers during a trip to an Ibiza superclub with Kate Middleton, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on April 29.

It is hard to remember a time the couple weren’t the dedicated Royals they are, but according to the Duchess’ uncle Gary Goldsmith, the pair had their fair share of adventures, including a wild trip to Ibiza.

Speaking to ITV’s The Day Will and Kate Got Married, Mr Goldsmith said the couple were often spotted "out on boats" and at "beach bars", making sure they got the "full Ibiza experience" and had a "really good time".

He also claims William was a budding novice DJ and was "getting some help from a friend" on how to spin.

At one point, the friend asked HRH what he would say to the crowd, to which Prince William allegedly replied: "The King is in the house!"

Gary added: "Which I kinda love."

Kate and William’s wild side was first revealed by Ibiza party organiser Tony Truman who posted about the memory on his Instagram page after Morillo died in September 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Pacha nightclub and were reportedly guests of DJ Erick Morillo and Francisco Ferrer, Pacha's artistic director, in 2006.

He claimed the DJ "loved life so much" and will "never forget" the time "HRH Prince William came to Ibiza".

Mr Truman, the former partner of EastEnders' star Charlie Brooks, said Kate was also on the island with her now-husband and he had the pleasure of organising the night for the couple and their "entourage."

The party planner said he asked Morillo to "look after him" and he obviously did a good job as HRH called to say thank you.

It was also revealed Prince William was "not a fan" of Morillo's music until that night, but Tony claims Prince Charles' son told him he now loves it.
