Prince Harry at home in ‘cool’ polo team as he’s treated ‘like one of the guys’

Prince Harry feels very much at home when playing polo with sporty Americans, according to an insider.

The 37-year-old Duke of Sussex was snapped taking part in the posh field sport at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club over the weekend.

He was later seen sharing a kiss with wife Meghan Markle after his team came out victorious in a competitive tournament.

Now, a source has claimed the Prince relishes how his global fame and royal status counts for nothing out on the polo field — as his teammates simply treat him as "one of the guys".

Praising his efforts for his team, the source told People magazine: "Prince Harry looks so comfortable and happy on the polo field, and everyone treats him like he is just one of the guys!"

"His presence this season has brought a really cool vibe to the club, but it hasn't changed the way the games have been played. It's business as usual and all the teams are fighting for the win."

Harry is also said to be a "very fierce competitor" but manages to go easy on his horses, with the observer claiming the Duke is "extremely caring" with his polo ponies.

Meanwhile, royal expert Daniela Elser has hit out at Markle's outfit and the kiss she shared with her husband on the day, which she claimed was simply Meghan "getting ready for her close-up."

Elser wrote in her column: "Did Meghan simply wake up and decide that some old school Hollywood glamour was the order of the day given she was going to present the winners’ trophies? Or was she, Cecil B. DeMille-style, simply getting ready for her close-up?

Criticism of Markle's dress and kissing of the Duke of Sussex continued, with Elser adding: "So, was Meghan's uber glam show on the weekend just that? A made-for-TV moment?"
