The woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann is not the missing British child, DNA results show.

Julia Wendell has been tirelessly campaigning to find out her true identity and believed she could be Madeleine thanks to similarities in their appearance.

The search has seen her submit three DNA samples and a genetics test, the results of which have finally come back today (April 4) after weeks of waiting.

"She is absolutely 100% from Poland," Julia's private investigator and self-proclaimed psychic, Dr Fia Johansson, told RadarOnline.com.

"She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish.

However, Dr Johansson said, Julia's work was not in vain and she claims her client's search for answers has been helpful to move the search for Madeleine forward.

"At least Julia got the investigators to move on the McCann case – she made things happen," she added.
