Tomorrow (March 21) may be the first day of spring, but that doesn't mean the wintry weather is behind us yet.
With 14 flood alerts already in place across England, heavy showers are expected to continue well into the second half of the week, with snow forecast in parts of the North according to the Met Office.
Strong winds and coastal gales are also expected in northern regions, sweeping West to East across the UK.

Met Office meteorologist Jonathan Vautrey warned: "Unsettled weather is looking like it will continue throughout the rest of the new working week, so there will be further outbreaks of rain and showers.
"Windy as well, certainly as we head toward Wednesday and that will take an edge off the temperature."
Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire and Shropshire are likely to see the biggest downpours, with hail a possibility.
Ian Simpson, a forecaster for Netweather, added: "Storms will be most likely across eastern Wales, Midlands and northern England. Storms may be accompanied by hail and may produce flooding."
