A loyal dog has become an internet sensation after putting trying to guard his owner's young daughter during an argument.
Harry the golden retriever is very protective of two-year-old Youyou and always stays by her side when they are left home alone.
But he also comes to the rescue when Youyou's mum tells her off.
In a video shared more than 59,000 times, the youngster uses her mum's new facial cream and rips open the packaging box.
Mum Ms Sun looks around the coffee table and finds the cream smeared onto Youyou's robot toy.
While she is pointing her finger at her daughter, the pooch puts up an angry face and snarls at Ms Sun, seemingly to guard the child from the punishment.
Harry then goes over to give the crying girl a hug and places his head on to her shoulder.
He even wraps his front leg around Youyou's waist to make sure she stops tearing up.
The incredible video has been liked 1.4 million times since it was shared to Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok.
Viewers were touched by the five-year-old canine's moves and said Youyou is lucky to have a companion.
