The father of the world’s richest man Elon Musk has said that he’s not proud of his son in a savage interview.
Errol Musk, 79, dropped the brutal bomb about his boy live on air after he called into an Australian radio show on Monday.
Speaking on Kyle and Jackie O’s show on station KIIS FM, Errol spoke about how the family had been successful before Elon.

In an interview that lasted 20 minutes, the Tesla owner was dashed by his father – who even went as far as to say he preferred his brother Kimbal.
Jackie O asked Musk Snr: “Your offspring is a genius. He’s worth so much money and has created so many things, you can’t take that away from him. Are you proud?”
To which he bluntly replied: “No. You know, we are a family that have been doing a lot of things for a long time, it’s not as if we suddenly started doing something.”
He explained that despite all of his many successes, Elon feels like he is further behind in his career than he wants to be – and Errol savagely feels this is correct.
The patriarch said: “He is frustrated with progress and it’s understandable.

“I know it sounds crazy, but we tend to think like that as a family. He’s 50 now and I still think of him as a little boy. But he’s 50, I mean that’s an old man.”
Now Errol is concerned that, given his age, Elon might struggle to find a partner who would happily put their own life on the back burner to be with the SpaceX brainbox who, with four different women, has nine different children.
“I worry about him," he said.
“He loves people, he loves humanity.”
Conversation then turned to the widely-shared images of Elon with his shirt off on holiday on a boat in Greece.
“Elon is very strongly built but he’s been eating badly,” he said before adding that he had told his son about the possibility of the weight loss supplement garcinia cambogia.
From South Africa, Errol’s oldest is Elon who he had with Maye Musk, his first wife. The two also share daughter Toska and Kimble.
Chef and restaurateur Kimble runs a number of restaurants through the Kitchen Restaurant Group.
Hugely successful in his own right, he is thought to have a net worth of around £570million.
As the interview wore on, Errol went on to say that it was Kimble who was his “pride and joy” and said that he was lucky because he got to spend a lot of time with his wife Cristina Wyly.
He capped off the interview by adding that his luxury collection of cars did not include a Tesla.
