Drunken Brit made lewd comments at air hostesses before chucking Pringles and passing out

A DRUNK Brit made lewd comments at air hostesses then threw Pringles at fellow fliers.

Kieran Jones, 27, later fell asleep across three seats before falling down the steps to the runway.

He had boozed before he boarded the 11am Jet2 flight from Manchester to Budapest, a court heard.

He then downed G&Ts, remarked on an attendant’s backside and yelled at another: “She’ll do.”

He also threw snacks and spilt drink over himself before passing out.

He was taken to hospital after falling on the tarmac and was arrested, in 2019.

Jones, of Chester, admitted being drunk on an aircraft at Minshull Street crown court.

He vowed to get help with his drinking and was ordered to carry out 220 hours’ unpaid work.

Wayne Jackson, prosecuting, said: "This was boorish and nuisance behaviour.”

Sentencing, Judge Mark Savill told Jones: “Cabin crew and fellow passengers should not be subject to loutish, boorish and drunken behaviour.

“It is obvious that before you got on this flight you were very much worse for wear.

“You made inappropriate comments in an attempt to show off to and flirt with stewardesses.”
