A lot of sunshine and some warmth will hit Denver in the first full week of 2021.
Monday’s high for Denver will rise to 53 degrees under sunny skies with light winds out of the southwest, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The light wind will pick up to 5 to 10 mph in the evening and gust as high as 16 mph. The overnight low will dip to 29 degrees with increasing clouds.
Another mostly sunny day is coming on Tuesday with a high of 51 degrees. Winds will pick up, coming out of the northwest at 20 mph and gusting to 37 mph.
Tuesday night has a 20% chance of snow showers before 11 p.m. but will mainly stay partly cloudy. The temperature will drop to 23 degrees while the strong northwest wind persists.
More wind is coming Wednesday as gusts near 20 mph out of the southwest as the temperature pushes back up to 48 degrees. A clear and 23 degree night is expected.
