Although Lord Frost has secured a major climbdown from the EU, the former adviser to the Prime Minister warned Mr Johnson and the European Research Group may push for further alterations to the deal. Praising Lord Frost, Mr Cummings said: “So much criticism from people who’ve never achieved or built anything for David Frost, who has to handle the negotiations knowing the PM can and does pull rug out any second, & with ERG nonsense offstage.

“He’s done a brilliant job in circs so tough almost nobody understands.”

EU officials will travel to England on Thursday to discuss the proposals put forward by Maros Sefcovic on Wednesday.

The package unveiled by the EU included an 80 percent reduction in food safety and phytosanitary rules, medicines, governance and customs checks.

Despite these proposals, the role of the European Court of Justice was not mentioned in the plan.

PM knew he was ‘sort of selling out’ fishermen

Dominic Cummings has suggested the Prime Minister knew his Brexit deal would not be good for UK fishermen.

Asked by former Brexit Party MEP, June Mummery over the deal, Mr Cummings said: “He sort of knew he was selling them out but he hides such knowledge from himself.

“He’s not a simple character. It’s why ‘lying’ is tricky to pin on him.

“He just doesn’t know what truth is. He only ever cares about himself.”

Dominic Cummings issues Boris Johnson warning

Despite Lord Frost securing a major climbdown from the EU over the Northern Ireland protocol, Mr Cummings warned the Prime Minister “may pull the rug out” on talks.

He said: “So much criticism from people who’ve never achieved/built anything for David Frost who has to handle the negotiations knowing the PM can and does pull the rug out any second, & with ERG nonsense offstage.

“He’s done a brilliant job in circs so tough almost nobody understands.”

Following pressure from Lord Frost, the EU put forward a plan which reduces 80 percent of checks for goods moving between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
