CZ: ‘You Can Travel the World With Crypto’

On Saturday (5 November 2022), Balance announced that there is now a “new dedicated section” on Binance Marketplace that “makes accessing travel-related services like hotel booking and ride hailing easier than ever.”

Balance Marketplace, which is powered by Binance Pay, is accessible via the Binance mobile app. It provides access to “a wide range of products, services, and brands on which you can spend your crypto.”

According to Binance’s blog post, the new Travel section provides access to the following mini apps:

Travels: “booking hotels, flights, tours, and activities”

Splyt: “hailing rides within and across national borders”

Flights: “over 1,000 airlines and 9,000 destinations for crypto travelers to choose from”

Mobile E-sim: “crypto top-ups to help you stay connected wherever you go”

Binance Pay is “a contactless, borderless, and secure cryptocurrency payment technology designed by Binance” that “allows you to pay and get paid in crypto from your friends and family worldwide.

Binance Pay currently supports “70+ cryptocurrencies, including BTC, BNB, BUSD, ETH, ADA, ATOM, BCH, DASH, DOGE, DOT, EOS, ETC, FIL, HBAR, LINK, LTC, MATIC, NEO, PAX, QTUM, TRX, TUSD, UNI, USDC, VET, WRX, XLM, XMR, XRP, XTZ, ZEC, USDT, FRONT, STRAX, ONE, EGLD, and SXP.”
